Chapter 01: Mobile Devices
This chapter will focus on computers such as laptops, smartphones, tablets, and PCs and the troubleshooting of hardware and networks. It will follow the structure of the CompTIA A+ 220-1001 exam blueprint and give a brief introduction on replacement, configuration, and instalment of different components of computing or mobile devices. It will give an overview of opening up a laptop along with the proper steps for disassembling and reassembling a laptop.

Laptops or Notebook computers are small computers with all the necessary input and output peripherals packed up in a single portable device. They have all the components that are required by a desktop computer to make it a functional computing device, although some of the components and features are modified to some extent for making it more compact and portable. Like desktop computers, laptops and notebooks use standard operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, or Linux. Usually a laptop or notebook computer contains the following components:
